Tell Us About The Camp

Hello friends!

Wow .. I can see that you guys enjoyed the camp alot! Hahaa .. the shout out box is so full of cheers from different houses and all the appreciation for the camp. Thank God for this great camp and it's indeed such memorable experiences we had. Thanks for the committee members for organizing and sacrificing their time and effort in the planning to make this camp a success yeah. And especially not forgetting all the campers who had come and spent the 3 days together through fun and sweat, this camp is made up of all of you and it wouldn't be such a success without each one of you. So 3 cheers for everyone!

I believed through these 3 days of camp, we had brought back something with us, be it great friendships being builded up, beautiful memories, some memorable moments, some lessons learnt or some new experiences. Why not share with us by commenting at the bottom right of this post.

You can give us feedbacks on the camp, like what went on good, which activities/games you enjoyed the most or any areas of the camp we can improved on.

You can also share with us your experiences with God throughout the camp, during the game, devotion or night sessions. Maybe you have a testimony you would like to share and glorify God? Write about it yeah.

Gear Up For Big BANG Camp

Guys! Let's gear up and prepare ourselves for this camp. Let's step out and make a difference in the life of our friends and be a blessing to them. These are what Darryl had said yesterday after service during the camp briefing:

Camp Etiquette - The Jesus DNA!
1. Have a great attitude at all times
    a. Be accepting of ALL campers
    b. Be enthusiastic
    c. Be supportive
    d. Mind your language
    e. Be gentle
    f. Be teachable

2. Spiritual
    a. Recharge yourself - pray in the spirit
    b. Be an example for Christ - be a good testimony

3. Be sharp
    a. Watch out for ways to serve - take care of each other
    b. Look out for the needs of fellow campers, especially friends
    c. "Discussion time"

    c. Care/ cuddle
    d. Do
    e. Endow

2. The ABCs of Salvation
    a. Accept - We have sinned and need a Saviour
    b. Believe - Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was buried and rose again

Let's chew on it, commit to it and work as a family. This camp is gonna be REAL GREAT! Let's CHIONG ah!!

Take note yeah, we will be meeting at Changi Beach Carpark 1 (CP1) instead of Changi Point Ferry Terminal. You would need to cross a small bridge, CPFT will be on your left, and then walk diagonally to your right to CP1. Below is the map of that location:

Hi all,

Just want to expound on what Ming Jing shared during PM today- 'When the name of the Lord is magnified, He will draw all men to Him.'

Friends, God promised in His word that if we want to see our friends get saved, we simply have to magnify His name.
Dictionary.com defines 'magnify' as 'to glorify or praise' or 'to increase the apparent size of, especially by means of lens'. Everyone of us are the lens of God. Through our lives, God is being magnified. When our friends look at our lives, they should see the Big God that we serve. And when they can see the BIG God that we serve manifested in our mortal bodies, then all men will be drawn to God.

And that is exactly what is going to happen during the camp. When you come and you exemplify the love of God by caring for your friends' needs, when you are so tired but yet remain excited and cheerful and never give up, when you step out of your comfort zone to create the atmosphere and even do things you have never done before, your friends are going to see it and know that truly, it is not you but He that is in You that is doing all these. And then, they will come to the knowledge of Christ and give their hearts to Jesus. Only because you have magnified the name of Jesus!!

So it is not difficult, all you have to do is to step out of your comfort zone and always maintain an excellent spirit even in the face of difficulties or disappointments.

Revival is coming and it is the members of MJ zone that bring it into existence!

EVERYONE, let's be EXCITED throughout the camp. Let's be ENTHUSIASTIC during the games. Let's be EXUBERANT during our praise and worship. Let's remain ENERGETIC always. And lastly, let's EXPLODE the place with BIG BANG 2008!

Are you guys excited?! 11 more days man! Let's not let our precious time slip away, let's really go out and invite yeah. Let's commit our friends and the whole entire camp in prayer and stir yourself up for this camp. Be filled with expectancy and desire God to transform and build you up as the new generation of people!
